WHY MASKS #2

With the proliferating number of Covid-19 cases nationwide, stronger measures are being taken by national leaders. Earlier this week, the government of Arunachal Pradesh issued a notice stating that all petrol depots and gas agencies have to refuse service to customers who are not wearing masks. Whereas in Mumbai, one of the epicenters of the pandemic in India, an order was issued (under the Epidemic Diseases Act of 1897) stating that anyone not wearing a mask in a public place will be punished.

Masks have had an incredibly vital role to play in this ongoing crisis. A case study shows that between 30 and 40 percent of the people with coronavirus infections exhaled viruses if they wore no mask. With the proliferating number of Covid-19 cases nationwide, stronger measures are being taken by national leaders. Due to the limited stock of masks at the moment, the socially economically weaker sections are at a disadvantage. We also must take into account the severity of the current standstill of economic activity and employment which is another prime reason why those less fortunate are not getting access to resources. Which is where our organisation comes in , with more people joining our mission, we have been able to ramify and extend our aim. As a result, the Masks For India non-profit organisation has started providing soaps, essential goods, etc. to the affected communities.

In these tough times, we have to be socially active and come together to work assiduously for a good cause. Join Masks for India and become an ambassador today by clicking on this link.

As an organisation, we aim to support our community both emotionally and substantially, for a healthier India, for a safer India and for a stronger India
